Continue can use Aixy through its OpenAI provider with a custom API base.

Store the key

Add the project-scoped key to ~/.continue/.env:
Do not commit this file. IDE extensions do not normally inherit variables exported from a shell, so a Continue .env file is the most predictable local option.

Configure the model

Add a model to ~/.continue/config.yaml:
Replace model with a provider-qualified model or an aixy/<route>. Save the file, reload the Continue configuration, and select Aixy coding. Choose a model with function-tool support for agent workflows and configure any model capability overrides using verified values. Send a short message and verify its project, provider, and model in Activity. See Continue’s OpenAI-compatible configuration for optional roles and model capabilities.
